Temporary residence card
Your application is handled by an advocate, not an agency.
A temporary residence permit is issued by the voivode competent for your place of residence. Since 27 April 2026 the application is filed electronically through the Case Handling Module. We run the case from choosing the legal basis to the decision.
What a temporary residence card is
A residence card is the document that confirms a permit already granted. The card itself is not the basis of your stay: the permit is the basis, and the card certifies it. That is why the first step is not filling in a form but establishing which permit you can actually apply for.
The basis depends on what you do in Poland. The firm handles residence matters connected with work, running a business, studies, and family or marriage.
Who decides your case
Proceedings are run by the voivode competent for your place of residence, not for your place of work or your employer's registered address. This distinction is a common source of mistakes when the address changes mid-case.
If the decision is a refusal, the second-instance authority is the Head of the Office for Foreigners. The firm conducts cases before the Podlaskie Voivode and appeals to the Head of the Office for Foreigners.

Filing through the Case Handling Module
Since 27 April 2026 residence permit applications are filed electronically through the Case Handling Module. The change concerns how you file, not what is assessed: the office still looks at the same things, through a different channel.
Attending in person is still needed where the office requires it, for instance for fingerprints. Beyond that we run most stages remotely, whichever voivodeship you live in.
A deadline in a request is binding
If a request to supplement your file arrives mid-case, the deadline runs from delivery, and missing it can end the proceedings. It is the first thing we check when you come to us with a letter in hand.

Frequently asked questions
Can I work while waiting for the decision?
It depends on the basis of your stay and on whether the work is covered by a permit or a declaration. We check this at the consultation, before you sign anything, because the consequences reach both your stay and the legality of your employment.
What if I change address during the case?
The competent authority follows your place of residence, so a change of address can change the office handling your case. It has to be reported, and we check which steps your situation requires.
Do I have to travel to Białystok?
No. We handle cases across Poland, and most formalities, including filing through MOS, happen online. Attending in person is needed only where the office requires it.
